Clonmel Junction Festival (CJF), established over 11 years ago in the picturesque walled town of Clonmel, has just announced the line up for this years 10 day festival in early July. Now in its 11th year CJF has continued to grow from strength to strength and invites everyone to be part of the 2011 Festival.

Each year, the Festival has a varied and unique theme and this year will celebrate participation. The theme weaves its way around the entire programme offering everyone an opportunity to be part of the action. From clowning workshops which culminate in a Festival Theatre show, choral workshops building up to live festival concert performances, the community bunting project which creates flags to decorate the town during the festival; or taking part in one of the many workshops that take place daily in the artist cafes, Clonmel Junction Festival is committed to getting involved in many different ways.

Speaking on the announcement of the programme Artistic Director David Teevan said "The Festival programme is curated with a view to stimulating dialogue and making connections. The Festival aims to entwine the arts into the very fabric of the community, enriching the texture of the local culture and I hope enabling people to see the world they inhabit in a different way."
