American rock superstar Lenny Kravitz will be performing in Jakarta, Indonesia for the first time ever on March 26, 2015 at the Istora Senayan for his Strut World Tour. The four-time grammy awardee, who is responsible for hits such as “American Woman”, “Fly Away”, “Again” and “Are You Gonna Go My Way” is not only famous for his music but also plays the role of Cinna in the movie Hunger Games.
Lenny Kravitz is one of the multi-talented rock artists who not only is responsible for his personal success but also penned plenty of hits for other music stars such as Madonna, produced the debut album for French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis, and wrote “Line up” for Aeromsmith’s Steven Tyler.
Kravitz has won the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for four years in a row starting from 1999 to 2002 breaking the record for the most wins in that category as well as setting the record for the most consecutive wins in one category by a male. Aside from the Grammys, Kravitz has numerous awards from the American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Radio Music Awards, BRIT Awards, and Blockbuster Entertainment Awards.
Kravitz, who not only enjoys music success but also success on tv, film, and music producing, will be going on his 15th world tour, which includes Southeast Asia. With 10 albums to date, and a long list of hit songs, Kravitz, now 50, will definitely be rocking the Istora Senayan all night on March 26, 2015.
