Buck Creek Players Present A FEW GOOD MEN, Now thru 4/5

The Buck Creek Players will continue their 41st season of quality theater, LIFE 101: A Season of Life Lessons, with the captivating courtroom drama, A FEW GOOD MEN, by Aaron Sorkin. Opening tonight, March 27th, and continuing for two weekends through Sunday, April 5th, curtain times are at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Sundays. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse on the southeast side of Indianapolis at 11150 Southeastern Avenue.

Tickets are $16 for adults and $14 for children, students, and senior citizens (aged 62 and older). First produced on Broadway in 1989 and inspiring an Academy Award-nominated film of the same name with Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson, Aaron Sorkin's A FEW GOOD MEN tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial who uncover a high-level conspiracy in the course of defending their clients, two United States Marines accused of murder. Based on events that took place at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in July 1986, A FEW GOOD MEN investigates both the nature of our military mentality and the Marine code of honor.

A FEW GOOD MEN features the talents of Christopher Dietrick as Lt. J.G. Daniel A. Kaffee, Adam Grandy as Lt. J.G. Sam Weinberg, Mary K. Fischer as Lt. Cmdr. Joanne Galloway, John D. Carver as Lt. Col. Nathan Jessep, Ronan Marra as Capt. Matthew A. Markinson, Jay Hemphill as Lt. Jack Ross, Aaron E. Smith as Lt. Jonathan James Kendrick, Michael Johnson as Lance Cpl Harold W. Dawson, and Nic Elizondo as PFC Louden Downey.

Supporting cast members include Arthur Broomfield, Brian Jeffries, Tim Latimer, Dennis Karr, Clayton Leslie, Michael Maloney, Jason A. Roll, and Austin A. Russell.

Director Melissa DeVito leads the cast with assistance from Judith Duncan (Producer), Lea Viney (Set Designer/Technical Director), Simon Roberts (Lighting Designer), Patrick M. Murphy (Sound Designer), Sue Kuehnhold (Costumer), and Tracy Brunner (Properties).
