Buck Creek Players presents The Drowsy Chaperone, a musical within a comedy, with book by Bob Martin & Don McKellar, music & lyrics by Lisa Lambert & Greg Morrison. Directed and choreographed by D. Scott Robinson with vocal direction by Matthew Konrad Tippel, the show runs June 1-2-3, 8-9-10, 15-16-17, 2012, Friday & Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m, at the Buck Creek Playhouse, located at 11150 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.

Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for children, students & senior citizens (62 & older).

Be transported to a magical, wonderful world in this new musical comedy that was the darling of the Tony Awards, winning the most statues in 2006. The hilarious show-within-a-show begins when an agoraphobic die-hard musical theater fan plays his favorite cast album, a 1928 smash hit called "The Drowsy Chaperone" and the show magically bursts to life around him in his apartment. Audiences are instantly immersed in the rambunctious tale of a Broadway starlet and her uproarious wedding day, which includes mistaken identities, dream sequences, gangsters, and, of course, the "Drowsy" (AKA tipsy) Chaperone.
