Jyotsna Keshav Bhole (May 11, 1914 - August 5, 2001) was a veteran Marathi stage artiste and singer.
Introduced to the stage when female roles were being played by male actors, by her husband, the late Keshavrao Bhole, a veteran music and dance director, Jyotsnabai went on to become one of the first female actresses to don the female character in Marathi play Andhalyachi Shala. With a pliable, sweet voice, and unique style of rendition she mesmerized the audiences.
The event is being presented to celebrate the birth centenary of Smt Bhole. There will be two parts to the event: First, a musical programme including Marathi bhavgeets and natyageets immortalised by Jyotsnabai, presented by her daughter Vandana Khandekar, Anuradha Kuber and Sawani Datar.
