If heaven was on earth, chances are one would be waking up in the serenity of the hills, away from the stress of the city lives, as the sounds of live bands play soothing music interrupted only by the chirping birds. Well, a fantasy like this does come true once in a while, as the 6th edition of Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival announces its dates for the year. The charming music festival featuring some of the most covered names in the Indian music industry will be held from April 14 -16 at Baikunth Resorts in Kasauli, a small hilly town in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The music festival that has reserved its spot as one of the awaited events for music lovers in India will feature performances from bands such as Nasya, Eka, Neeraj Arya Kabeer Café and the original grand dame of Indian rock n roll music Usha Uthup amongst many others. The festival aims to promote the meditative power of music and gives a fresh perspective to the new popular music scene in India. The festival that is now in its sixth edition has attracted music and nature lovers from across the country for a weekend of soul satisfying music.
