“The Whale; or, Moby-Dick” by Timothy N. Evers, Philip Hays and Herman Melville
Philip, a hapless actor, has been swallowed by a whale. To forestall his impending digestion, he entertains the monster with a quick, dirty and spectacular retelling of the sea beast’s favorite whale tale. Will he make it through all 135 chapters of Melville’s tome? Or does ol’ Big-Dick have a different ending in mind?

This new work invites YOU to enter the belly of the beast: Moby-Dick. Get swallowed! The play will be performed inside a GIANT white dome on the banks of Buffalo Bayou -- minutes away from Minute Maid Stadium and the original Ninfa's. This dome is our "Whale; or, Moby-Dick." This dome is Moby-Dick's stomach. You see, Ol' Big-Dick has a penchant for whale tales -- and over the years, he's swallowed a life-sized dollhouse of Melville's tale. Only, Moby is missing the two most important pieces: a storyteller and an audience. That's where YOU come in.
