Long-Running GIRLS ONLY - THE SECRET COMEDY OF WOMEN to Close 5/18 at Main Street Theater

Girls Only - The Secret Comedy of Women announced today that it is closing its long engagement on Sunday, May 18 after the 3:30pm performance.

"Main Street Theater needs the space to prepare for their summer musical Pippi Longstocking" said producer Sydney Greenblatt. "Pippi has an elaborate and complicated set which needed to be built on site, MST has been a great partner and we wanted to give them the time they needed to prepare for a successful summer season." Featuring Houston actresses Tracy Ahern and Shondra Marie, Girls Only mixes sketch comedy, improvisation, audience participation and uproarious songs and video in a unique examination of all things girly. "It's like Saturday Night Live on hyperdrive," was one theatergoer's summary.

During its two engagements at Houston's Main Street Theater -Chelsea Market Girls Only has played to uproarious laughter from over 13,000 women (and men)! There's still time to join the fun before it's gone, gone, gone!
