The Grand 1894 Opera House welcomes to Galveston an exciting new production of the Tim Rice-Andrew Lloyd Webber Broadway musical, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.

Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andrew Blankenbuehler, the show is scheduled for one performance only, Friday, October 2, 2015 at 8 pm. Tickets may be purchased at The Grand's Box Office, 2020 Postoffice Street, by calling 409.765.1894, 800.821.1894, or online at www.thegrand.com.

Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, the Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to life as a delightful Broadway parable. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged.
