If you like the TV show FRIENDS, then you should see what happens when a crazed couple is full-blown obsessed with the popular '90s sitcom.

Cone Man Running Productions presents Breanna Bietz's comedy play INSOMNIA CAFE, wherein a couple of crazed FRIENDS fans go to extremes in order to live a carbon-copy lifestyle of the show, even though it's been over a decade since the series finale.

But will kidnapping a Chandler be enough for them to live out their biggest fantasy and sustain a Friends-ship? Can laughter really drown out fear? It's a classic case of sitcomphilia that is violently funny.

Directed by Lex Laas. Starring Travis Ammons, Jenna Morris and Brian Chambers.

INSOMNIA CAFE opens January 12 and continues through 28, 2017. Presented by Cone Man Running Productions. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursdays - Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through January 28 at Obsidian Theatre, 3522 White Oak. 713-818-5563. obsidiantheater.org. $15-$18. Discounts available for students, seniors, and groups of 8 or more. For $25, see SUNDAY ON THE ROCKS and INSOMNIA CAFE both playing at Obsidian Theatre.
