Broadway at the Hobby Center to Offer Sneak Peek of 2013-14 Season at Open House, 8/25
Guests at the Hobby Center's Theater District Open House this Sunday, from noon - 4 p.m., can enjoy a sneak peek of Gexa Energy Broadway at the Hobby Center's highly anticipated 2013 - 2014 season and take advantage of exclusive offers. A special guest from War Horse will make an appearance to educate, delight and amaze audiences about the innovative and imaginative drama.
Sunday will be an opportunity for the public to purchase tickets for PETER AND THE STARCATCHER. The first 50 individuals to purchase tickets in person at the Hobby Center box office (open at 11 a.m.) will receive a PETER AND THE STARCATCHER t-shirt.
Visitors to the Hobby Center on Sunday can also take part in a PETER AND THE STARCATCHER-inspired community art project from recycled materials. Texas Art Asylum and the Center for Recycled Art have partnered with the production to help create the artwork, which is reminiscent of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER's Tony Award winning set design also constructed almost entirely out of reclaimed and recycled materials. The collaborative projects will be displayed at the Hobby Center throughout the show's run October 15 - 20.
Gexa Energy Broadway at the Hobby Center will also have three-show season packages including CHICAGO, GHOST and War Horse available starting at $85. Those who purchase a season ticket package will also receive a complimentary iTunes Broadway Music collection download.
