The Hawaii Shakespeare Festival will hold four days of open auditions for its ninth season. Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 10 from 2pm to 5pm at The ARTS at Marks Garage; on Monday, April 12 from 2pm to 5pm at the Leeward Community College Lab Theatre; on Tuesday, April 13 from 6pm to 9pm at the Hawaii Pacific University's Paul & Vi Loo Theatre and on Saturday, April 18 from 2pm to 5pm at The ARTS at Marks Garage.

The ninth season features Julius Caesar, to be directed by Troy Apostol; Measure for Measure, to be directed by Linda Johnson; and Henry VI to be directed with an all-female cast by Tony Pisculli. Performance dates run from July 9 to August 22 at The ARTS at Marks Garage.

Auditioners don't need to prepare anything, but should come ready to move. Auditions will consist of cold readings and some movement and improvisation work. There are many roles for men and women of all ages. Auditioners are asked to stay for the entire session, but only need to come on one day. For more information, call Tony Pisculli at 256-6657 or visit www.hawaiishakes.org.
