Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, Florida is has announced the arrival of Tony-nominated and Olivier Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig who has come to see their production of Ken Ludwig's The Game's Afoot, which is breaking box office records at Gulfshore Playhouse.

Ludwig attended the 8pm performance on Saturday, March 1st. The Playwright conducted a Q&A after the sold-out matinee performance on Sunday, March 2nd.

The Playhouse is pleased to announce that on Monday, March 3rd, they will present Page to Stage: a staged reading of two of Ken's newest, and as-of-yet-unfinished works, read by cast members of the current production of Ken Ludwig's The Game's Afoot: Cody Nickell, Christopher Gerson, Emily Townley, Alexis Hyatt, Julia Brothers, Barbara Kingsley, and Zac Hoogendyk, as well as visiting actor Jason Parrish. The afternoon will include the first act of two plays that Ken is in the process of writing: Garrick's Folly and Water, Water.

This exclusive reading will be a "Universe Premiere", as it will be the first time either of these plays has been read aloud. Audience members will have the chance to interact with Mr. Ludwig post show in a talk back, where they will be able to give feedback and ask questions about the plays.

Ken Ludwig is an internationally acclaimed playwright whose many hits on Broadway, in London's West End and throughout the world have made his name synonymous with modern comedy. His shows have won him a Tony Award, the Laurence Olivier Award, England's highest theatre honor, and two Helen Hayes Awards. His work has been commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and has been performed in thirty countries in over twenty languages. Ken Ludwig is also the author of the popular Lend Me a Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo and The Fox on the Fairway. Gulfshore Playhouse is currently in the midst of a record breaking run of Ken Ludwig's The Game's Afoot.

Kristen Coury has created a sensational cauldron of creativity and accomplishment - and it was a particular pleasure to work with this tremendous cast. I've also gotten to reunite with one of my favorite actors on the planet, Cody Nickell. My thanks to Gulfshore for letting me join them."
