EVITA, ANYTHING GOES & More Set for Broadway Palm's 24th Season

Broadway Palm is proud to announce its 24th Season which includes eight main stage productions, five productions in The Off Broadway Palm, four Children's Theatre productions, and five concerts. Individual tickets go on sale June 1, 2016.

Broadway Palm's main stage opens on September 8, 2016 and runs through August 12, 2017. Show prices range from $40 to $65 with group and children's prices available. Performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings (no Tuesday evening performances May through October) with selected matinees. The main stage productions include:

Yesterdays (September 8, 2016 - October 8, 2016)

Join us for a fun-filled trip back in time with this musical comedy revue! You'll hear great songs from the rockin' 50s and the groovin' 60s including Blue Suede Shoes, My Girl, Dancing in the Streets, At the Hop, It's My Party, Blue Moon, Stop! In The Name of Love and many more!

Evita (October 13, 2016 - November 19, 2016)

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's dynamic musical masterpiece tells the story of Argentina's controversial First Lady. Rising from nothing, driven by ambition and blessed with charisma, Eva Peron "saint to the working-class, reviled by the aristocracy and mistrusted by the military" was destined to leave a fascinating political legacy unique in the 20th century.

White Christmas (November 24, 2016 - December 25, 2016)

Two army buddies, turned showbiz partners, follow two singing sisters to a Vermont inn. When they discover their former commanding officer is in jeopardy of losing his inn, they put on a show to help save his business, and they find love in the bargain. This merry and bright theatrical experience is full of dancing, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written such as Happy Holidays, Blue Skies and White Christmas.

Phantom (December 29, 2016 - February 11, 2017)

From the Tony Award-winning team of Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit comes the exquisite masterpiece based on Gaston Leroux's timeless love story of the disfigured musical genius Erik and his muse Christine. Their musical affair unfolds deep in the catacombs of the Opera house, where Erik finds salvation in Christine's breathtaking voice. This spellbinding musical brings to life the enchantment and mystery of the greatest love story of all time.

Anything Goes (February 16, 2017 - April 1, 2017)

When the S.S. American heads out to sea, etiquette and principle get tossed out the portholes! Two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love...proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from an exotic disguise, a whole ship full of tap dancing sailors and chorus girls, and some good old-fashioned blackmail. The magical score by Cole Porter includes It's De-Lovely, You're the Top, I Get a Kick Out of You, Easy to Love and the title song, Anything Goes.

Jesus Christ Superstar (April 6, 2017 - May 14, 2017)

This thrilling rock-opera takes a passionate, and sometimes irreverent, look at Jesus' last days through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. As Judas begins to question the motivations and methods of Jesus, emotion and true belief is put to the test. Propelled by a thrilling score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar illuminates the moving power of the human spirit with a passion that goes straight to the heart.

Clue The Musical (May 18, 2017 - June 24, 2017)

The popular board game is now an entertaining musical where you'll follow the clues with six quirky characters, famous murder weapons and the familiar rooms of the Boddy Manor! The world's best known suspects come to life on stage and with over 200 different solutions, YOU, the audience, gets to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon?!

Mary Poppins (June 29, 2017 - August 12, 2017)

Everyone's favorite nanny takes the stage in this musical adventure! Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins is an enchanting mixture of an irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers and astonishing stagecraft. You'll hear beloved songs such as Chim Chim Cher-ee, A Spoonful of Sugar and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

The Off Broadway Palm Theatre is Broadway Palm's second performance venue. The Off Broadway Palm's 20th Season begins October 6, 2016 and runs through July 29, 2017. The Nerd (October 6, 2016 - November 12, 2016)

The hilarious comedy about Willum, a young architect who gets a surprise visit from Rick, a fellow-ex-GI he's never met, but who saved his life in Vietnam. Rick turns out to be a hopeless "nerd" - a bumbling oaf with no social sense, little intelligence and even less tact. The delight of the visit fades when Rick overstays his welcome and his continued presence among Willum and his friends leads to one uproarious incident after another.

Another Night Before Christmas (November 17, 2016 - December 25, 2016)

'Twas the night before Christmas...and there's a "burglar" in the house, but his eyes twinkled and his dimples were merry. A cynical social worker is about to have her humbug attitude turned upside down in this charming and amusing musical comedy. You'll be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas while you laugh 'til you jiggle like a bowlful of jelly.

Savannah Sipping Society (January 19, 2017 - March 4, 2017)

Four Southern women, strangers to one another, are drawn together by fate and turn weekly happy hours into a mission to renew the enthusiasm for life they've lost through the years. Their raucous humor and collective strengths see them through unexpected challenges and to their surprise; they realize it's never too late to make lifelong friends.

Things My Mother Taught Me (March 9, 2017 - April 29, 2017)

A brand new romantic comedy by the author of the smash hit Nana?s Naughty Knickers. Olivia and Gabe are moving halfway across the country from their parents into their first apartment together. Imagine their surprise when the whole family shows up to help them. Funny and touching, this sweet story will make you laugh out loud and fall in love all over again.

Right Bed, Wrong Husband (June 15, 2017 - July 29, 2017)

In order to increase his allowance, young bachelor Ted writes his tight-fisted uncle to tell him he has married. When his uncle unexpectedly drops in and mistakes Ted's best friend's wife as his wife, things get a bit complicated. The ante increases every time the uncle kisses Ted's "wife" and so does the laughter when you add in a maid who's mistaken for something else, Ted's real fiancée and a neighborly drunk!

Broadway Palm Children's Theatre shows are fun for everyone! The chef's buffet includes children's favorites such as pizza, chicken nuggets, pasta, french fries and more. Tickets are just $19 for all ages. Performances are matinees with lunch beginning at Noon and show beginning at 1 p.m. and during the school year there are early matinees* with lunch beginning at 10:30 a.m. and show beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Junie B. Jones The Musical

This delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park's best-selling books is brought to life on stage in this musical comedy about Junie B. Jones and her first grade adventures!

The Most Famous Reindeer Of All

This fun-filled twist on the classic story about a reindeer who simply wants to fit in. Along the way, he encounters friends like Sammy the Snowflake and Ike the Elf and faces off against Evilla the Ice Witch.

A Year With Frog and Toad

Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books, this whimsical show follows two great friends -- the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad -- through four, fun-filled seasons!

Broadway Palm's 12th Annual Concert Series will feature five concerts. All evening concerts begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and concert at 7:30 p.m. All Sunday twilight concerts begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and concert at 7 p.m. The matinee concerts begin with lunch at 11:45 a.m. and concert at 1:15 p.m. All concert tickets are $65 for dinner and the show or $40 for the show only.
