The ever popular Church Basement Ladies are back at Broadway Palm to serve up some laughs from May 28 through July 4, 2015. This hilarious musical comedy is about church basement kitchens everywhere and the wonderful women who work there.

Church Basement Ladies pays tribute to the women who toil in the kitchens of American churches. The show follows four characters and their relationships as they organize the food and the problems of their rural Minnesota church. From the senior matriarch of the kitchen to the bride-to-be learning to arrange things in proper order, everyone will recognize the humorous and down-to-earth characters. Added is a little romantic stir for the new pastor and the outcome is heavenly entertainment!

The production is directed by Janet Paone. Janet played the role of Vivian Snustad in the original production of Church Basement Ladies. Curt Wollan, the original director of the production, had this to say: "This show is dedicated to those 'Steel Magnolias' of the basement. You'll find them in Catholic churches, Synagogues, Protestant churches, or anyplace where someone has to do the unheralded work of making the coffee, heating the hotdishes [casseroles], and dollop-ing the Jell-Os. They are your grandmothers, your aunts, and your mom and it's time to thank them and to find out just what that laughter was all about!"

Church Basement Ladies will be cooking up some laughs from playing May 28 through July 4, 2015. Performances are Wednesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. Ticket prices range from $37 to $60 with group discounts available for parties of 20 or more. Tickets are now on sale and can be reserved by calling (239) 278-4422, by visiting www.BroadwayPalm.com, or by stopping by the box office at 1380 Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers.
