The Lake Worth Playhouse will produce a one-time audience participation event! Today, March 5th, 2014 the Playhouse presents "Sing with the Sound of Music". Get ready to follow along and sing all the songs of this classic musical as we show it on the big screen, along with subtitles, with what promises to be a fun filled evening.

Not only will patrons have the opportunity to sing with the rest of the audience, but will also receive a "brown paper bag all tied up with string" containing props which include a glow stick to help the Von Trapp's in their nighttime escape, a whistle to help the Captain call his children and confetti for the wedding. It is a chance to hiss the bad guys and cheer for the good guys....and not to be asked to leave the premises!

Audience participation includes dressing as your favorite Sound of Music character. There will be a costume contest prior to the movie, if you wish to participate. Contest winner will recieve 2 tickets to the Lake Worth Playhouse Mainstage production of Spamalot.

Come with a group to form your own chorus. Tickets are $15 each and 150 brown paper bags will be available on a first-come basis.

Purchase tickets in advance by stopping at the box office,

Tickets can be purchased through the Lake Worth Playhouse Box Office at 561-586-6410 or online at www.lakeworthplayhouse.org.
