"Shark Whisperer" Jim Abernethy and other experts in underwater photography will discuss their experiences in diving and photography in the next installment in the "Deep and Shallow" lecture series on Tuesday, December 17 at 3 p.m. at The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County at 601 Lake Avenue, Lake Worth.

The featured panelists are:
- Jim Abernethy Award-winning underwater photographer, filmmaker and author.
- Tony Arruza Over 30 years professional photographic experience blending visual sensitivity with a love of nature.
- Mark Widick, MD Has photographed astronauts/aquanauts from NASA, Canada, Japan and Europe under the waters off Key Largo.

This is part of our lecture series* connected with "The Deep and The Shallow" photography exhibition featuring the works of 12 emerging and established artists who have photographed above and below the surface of Palm Beach County's waters.

The next lecture in this series is January 7, 2014 at 3 p.m. - "What Makes a Great Photograph" will feature John J. Lopinot, former Deputy Director of Photography at The Palm Beach Post.
