JOHN WICK to Open Tomorrow at Newly Renovated AutoNation IMAX Theater

John Wick, the stylized action film from Summit Entertainment, a Lionsgate (NYSE:LGF) company, will open at the newly renovated AutoNation Imax Theater on October 23 through November 3, 2014. The highly buzzed-about film features action super star Keanu Reeves, Michael Nyvquist, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, Dean Winters, with Ian McShane, with John Leguizamo, and Willem Dafoe.

The Imax release of JOHN WICK will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The Imax Experience with proprietary Imax DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the world of the movie.

About JOHN WICK - JOHN WICK is directed by Chad Stahelski and produced by David Leitch, both of whom worked with Reeves as stunt coordinators on all three of The Matrix films, and written by Derek Kolstad.

The film tells the story of an ex-hitman, who comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him. With New York City as his bullet riddled playground, JOHN WICK (played by Reeves) is a fresh and stylized take on the assassin genre.

JOHN WICK has been rated R for strong and bloody violence throughout, language and brief drug use.
