It is absolutely ravishing, and Seattle audiences are lining up hours early to witness the spectacle for themselves.

BroadwayWorld Launches Producer Fantasy Game

Ever watched the weekly Broadway grosses roll in and thought you could pick the winners? Now you can put it to the test. BroadwayWorld has launched the Producer Fantasy Game, a free, season-long competition that lets theatre fans build a roster of Broadway shows and earn points based on how those productions actually perform at the box office. The draft window is open now.

How It Works

The setup is simple. During the draft window, you pick any six Broadway productions that opened this season. Drafting is non-exclusive, so there is no need to race a rival for a hot title. Any number of players can roster the same show.

From there, your shows go to work for you. Every week, each production on your roster earns fantasy points based on its reported box office grosses and capacity percentages. When Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle nominations and wins are announced, your shows bank bonus points on top of that. And each week you can answer our Fantasy Forecast prediction questions for up to five bonus points per correct call.

Weekly Scoring

Each week, a show earns one base point for every $50,000 it grosses, so a $1 million week is worth 20 base points. On top of that, shows can earn bonuses: up to five points for filling seats (based on how close to full capacity the house ran), six points for grossing $2 million or more (or three points for grossing between $1 million and $2 million), and eight points if its gross jumped at least 15 percent from the week before. A show loses four points if its gross dropped at least 15 percent. If a show goes dark and reports no gross for a week, it scores zero for that week with no penalty.

The Fantasy Forecast

The Producer Fantasy Game is really two games in one. The first is the box office game: drafting shows and earning points from their weekly grosses and awards. The second is the Fantasy Forecast, a weekly set of prediction questions about what's happening on Broadway, where each correct answer is worth up to five points. You can play one or both.

We track them separately so you can shine at either. Your Producer score covers the box office game, your Forecast score covers your prediction results, and your Combined score adds the two together for the overall championship ranking. The leaderboard lets you toggle between Overall, Producers, and Forecasters, so a sharp predictor can top the Forecasters board even during a rough season for their roster, and a roster powerhouse can lead the Producers board without answering a single question.

Managing Your Roster

Your lineup stays at six shows all season, and you have plenty of room to maneuver. You get one free drop every week, three additional season drops to use anytime before the trade deadline, and free replacements whenever a show on your roster closes. New productions open throughout the season and become available the moment they start reporting grosses, so it pays to keep a transaction in your pocket for that buzzy new opening.

Draft within the first two weeks of the season and your roster is scored from opening week, so the earlier you get in, the more weeks you bank. THE SIGNAL TOWER to Screen as Part of Overture Center's Duck Soup Cinema

The final showing this season of Duck Soup Cinema will be the 1924 film “The Signal Tower” on Saturday, June 13 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The evening is complete with vaudeville-style acts by Wayne the Wizard and Doc the Rube and a lively atmosphere that promises a unique cinematic journey for all.

Climb aboard for “The Signal Tower,” a gripping tale of love, loyalty and danger on the rails. Dave Taylor (Rockliffe Fellowes), a hardworking mountain railroad signalman, is devoted to his wife Sally (Virginia Valli) and young son Sonny (Frankie Darro). But when new colleague Joe Standish (Wallace Beery) moves in as a boarder, his barely concealed attraction to Sally threatens to derail their lives.

Filmed on Northern California locations—complete with an authentic signal tower built just for the movie—this rare screening showcases one of only two 35mm restoration prints from Photoplay Productions, meticulously dye-tinted to match the colors of the few surviving 16mm originals.

In addition to “The Signal Tower,” enjoy a special short film, “The Life and Death of 9413: A Hollywood Extra,” with live accompaniment by Nick Zoulek. The Signal Tower is presented by arrangement with Photoplay Productions and The San Francisco Silent Film Festival.

Duck Soup Cinema has become a cherished tradition at Overture Center, celebrating the legacy of the Capitol Theater's silent film heritage. Born from the vision to bring the Grand Barton Organ back into the spotlight, the series began as the Sounds of Silents before evolving into its current form in 2004. Each year, 2-5 films are presented with live accompaniment from a skilled organist, whose performance mirrors the emotions of the actors, just as it did when the theater first opened in 1928.

Overture Center for the Arts Contributes $66.9M to Madison Economy, Report Finds

An economic and fiscal impact analysis by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Fiscal and Economic Research Center reports Overture Center for the Arts will contribute $66.9 million to the Madison economy this 2025/26 season, a 94 percent increase from the 2021/22 season, the first after the pandemic, which contributed $34.48 million.

Overture Center draws more than 500,000 guests annually, up from 234,475 guests—a 124% increase—and supports over 400 local jobs, up from 270. Of these jobs, 260 were in the entertainment and restaurant sectors. Furthermore, the center creates $3.59 million in state and county tax revenue, a 56 percent increase from the 2021/22 season. This report exemplifies how investment in the arts strengthens workforce attraction, downtown vitality, tourism activity, education access, and community connection.

According to Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway, “Overture Center for the Arts is a defining centerpiece of downtown Madison's vibrant and eclectic culture. By connecting audiences to global experiences while holding space for homegrown artists, Overture enriches our community and enhances Madison's reputation as a desirable place to live. Overture's diverse programming serves as a powerful economic driver for our entire regional economy. It's an important and unique destination for Madison residents, as well as our many visitors.”

Driving downtown business

Of the $66.9 million, $18.9 million is spent at local restaurants, retail shops, and hospitality businesses. Arts activity fuels foot traffic across the entire downtown district. When audiences attend Overture performances, they dine downtown, shop locally, stay overnight, park nearby, and explore neighborhoods.

“Overture Center is one of the key anchors of Downtown Madison's vibrancy and appeal, drawing residents, workers, and visitors together through arts, culture, and community,” said Jason Ilstrup, President, Downtown Madison Inc. “Its performances, events, and everyday activity generate massive economic strength for downtown businesses while helping make Madison a more dynamic and welcoming place to live, work, and visit.”

Overture creates $14 million in total visitor impact. National touring Broadway productions, internationally recognized artists, and nine resident arts organizations create a year-round arts hub and make Overture one of the Midwest's most attractive cultural destinations.

Investing in families, students, and community access

Overture's Education and Engagement programs created $4.7 million in impact.

Of its more than half-million annual artistic experiences, nearly 40 percent are provided through free and low-cost programs. These education and engagement programs connect families, students, and communities to the arts year-round and support lifelong engagement.

Research partnership

Overture Center partnered with UW-Whitewater's Fiscal and Economic Research Center to analyze and quantify its annual economic impact. The factors analyzed include, but are not limited to, the duration of stay, related activities before and after a show, and size of the group. Surveys were collected and used to quantify the monetary impact on local and Wisconsin economies.

Researchers used IMPLAN (Impact Analysis for Planning) methodology, an economic analysis software system that uses survey data to estimate the extent to which different spending categories affect the local economy through direct effects (the initial impact created by spending by and at businesses around Overture), indirect effects (secondary impact caused by changing input needs of directly affected industries), and induced effects (changes in household spending due to additional employment generated by direct and indirect effects).

A DRAG QUEEN CHRISTMAS to Return for 12th Year With 39-City National Tour

Madison Lyric Stage, a professional theater company now entering its 14th year, will launch its 2026 Summer Festival with two concerts: Barry & Bette, a tribute concert featuring the best-known hit songs of Barry Manilow and Bette Midler; and Outcasts & Innocents, a celebration of the musical world of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears.

Returning to one of its original homes, Madison Lyric Stage will become the ‘theater-in-residence' at the Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Society, for a month-long summer festival of popular and classical music and drama. Guests will enjoy an unmissable arts experience in this temperature-controlled, intimate space with strictly limited seating.

As Sonic the Hedgehog celebrates 35 years as one of the most iconic video game franchises of all time, Senbla and SEGA today announced Sonic Live In Concert (www.sonicliveinconcert.com). This new concert experience brings the music and moments of the beloved video games to the stage.

Featuring iconic moments and music from the very first game in 1991 through today, the production will debut in the U.S. at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on September 26, 2026, before making its European premiere at London's Eventim Apollo on September 30. The U.S. tour will visit more than 30 cities nationwide, and a UK tour will follow in February 2027. More European dates will be announced at a later time. Tickets will go on sale May 29, 2026, with pre-sale tickets going on sale on May 28, 2026.

As part of a global rollout celebrating the franchise's milestone anniversary, Sonic Live In Concert features the most recognizable music from the Sonic universe, performed by a live ensemble alongside rock musicians, vocalists, and electronic elements. The setlist includes fan-favorite tracks and an incredible array of music from the very first game through to today accompanied by synchronized HD footage of iconic levels, moments and boss battles from the franchise. Audiences can expect musical Easter eggs woven into the arrangements, adding an extra layer of discovery that brings Sonic's world vividly to life on stage.

The concert also highlights the creative legacy behind Sonic's music from legendary composers Jun Senoue and Tomoya Ohtani, whose work has helped define Sonic's sound across generations.

JERRY AWARDS to Expand to Two Shows at Overture Hall for 2026 Ceremony

Wisconsin's brightest high school musical theater talent will take center stage this June at the 2026 Jerry Awards. The 2026 celebration expands to 118 productions and two high-energy award shows at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 in Overture Hall.

Each show will feature a unique lineup of students from participating schools, with standout performances by Outstanding Award recipients, giving audiences two chances to experience the passion and talent thriving in Wisconsin schools. With two performances, this year's format opens the doors to more of the students' family members and friends—and the public—to be part of the excitement.

Tickets ($41 each or $28 for students) are now on sale. Tickets sell out quickly! A livestream option is available for those who can't be in person. Livestream tickets are Pay What You Wish ($10 minimum).

This year's Jerry Awards honor more than 500 student achievements from productions in 100 communities statewide, showcasing excellence across schools of all sizes and resources. The celebration continues as two Outstanding Lead Performers, selected on Monday, May 25, will go on to represent the program at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (Jimmy Awards) in New York City.

Madison Opera to Broadcast Full 2025/26 Season on Wisconsin Public Radio

Madison Opera will partner with Wisconsin Public Radio to present recorded broadcasts of its entire 2025/26 season during the month of June: Puccini's La Bohème on Saturday, June 6; the world premiere of Scott Gendel and Sandra Flores Strand's Everlasting Faint on Saturday, June 13; and Mozart's Così fan tutte on Saturday, June 20. All broadcasts begin at 12noon Central. Listeners can tune in to their local WPR station or listen online at www.wpr.org.

Madison Opera's productions have aired on Wisconsin Public Radio every spring for over two decades, allowing local listeners to re-live the season and sharing the company's performances with listeners around the state and around the world.

“It is thrilling to be able to share our season outside the walls of the Overture Center for the Arts,” says Kathryn Smith, General Director of Madison Opera. “Our 2025/26 season was sensational, from La Bohème and Cosi fan tutte to the amazing world premiere of Everlasting Faint, and I am so glad that many more people will get to hear it.”

The broadcast season begins on June 6 with La Bohème, Puccini's classic opera about the lives, loves, and losses of a group of young artists in a Bohemian quarter of Paris. It was recorded on November 7, 2025, and stars Renée Richardson, Emily Secor, Terrence Chin-Loy, Kyle White, Wm. Clay Thompson, Lifan Deng, and Alex Taylor, conducted by John DeMain.

On June 13, listeners will hear the broadcast premiere of Everlasting Faint, with music by Scott Gendel and libretto by Sandra Flores-Strand, recorded at its world premiere on February 13, 2026. A young woman has died of unknown natural causes – or so the doctor declares. Her ghost returns and tells her mother that her husband murdered her. Shaken and resolute, her mother embarks on a journey to find out the truth and deliver justice for her daughter. Based on the true story of the 1897 Greenbrier Ghost, Everlasting Faint is a ghost story, a true crime drama, and an all-American opera. The large cast stars Katherine Pracht, Andrew Bidlack, Tori Tedeschi Adams, Emily Birsan, Alan Dunbar, Matthew Treviño, Robert A. Goderich, Alexandra Burch, Madison Barrett, Ryan Nash, Lifan Deng, and Oliver Thornburgh, conducted by Stephanie Rhodes Russell.

The broadcast season concludes on June 20 with Mozart's Così fan tutte, a delightful romantic comedy about two sisters, two suitors, a drunken wager about the nature of fidelity – and the complications that ensue when young love and flirtation encounter reality. It was recorded on April 24, 2026, and stars Sarah Tucker, Sun-Ly Pierce, Emily Treigle, Martin Luther Clark, Laureano Quant, and Andrew Wilkowske, conducted by Emily Senturia.

All performances featured the Madison Opera Chorus and Madison Symphony Orchestra. Each opera broadcast features intermission interviews with cast members and the conductor, conducted by WPR's Lori Skelton.

American Players Theatre (APT) is a professional theater located just outside Spring Green – a rural town with a population of 1,573 – 40 miles west of Madison, Wisconsin. Now in its 47th season, APT has two theaters: the flagship, 1075-seat outdoor amphitheater and the 201-seat indoor Touchstone Theatre. The site on which APT settled was a farmstead located four miles outside the rural village of Spring Green and less than two miles from the Wisconsin River and Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and school.

Over its 47-year history, APT has steadily built a national reputation not only for its unique location in the woods but also for producing theater of the highest quality. Today, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brenda DeVita and Managing Director Sara Young, the company is committed to the ideal that the way they create art is as important as the art they create. The tour began performances on September 6, 2025, at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio, and has welcomed over 500,000 patrons to date.

Allie and Noah, two people from different worlds, share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart in a deeply moving portrait of the enduring power of love. Based on the book that has sold millions of copies worldwide and a film that is one of the highest-grossing romantic dramas of all-time, the musical adaptation of THE NOTEBOOK played Broadway at the Schoenfeld Theatre from March 2024 to December 2024 following a critically acclaimed world premiere engagement at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in the fall of 2022.

THE NOTEBOOK features music and lyrics by multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson and a book by playwright Bekah Brunstetter (writer and producer on NBC's “This Is Us,” The Cake). Boris Borisovich's Wonder Tales, presented July 24 - August 2 at Madison Country Day School, is a fresh take on classic Eastern European myth and folklore centered around the wily and unpredictable Baba Yaga. Baba Yaga herself is sometimes helpful, sometimes harmful, but always unexpected. The production shows her interference with the adventures and misadventures of the lovely Vasilisa, the robust Prince, the wise Tsar, and the dreaded stepmother against the beautiful backdrop of the Yahara River. Shakespearean actors meet Old World mythology in this fast-paced and fanciful production. Review: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST ENCHANTS AUDIENCES at The Overture Center

There were so many amazing moments with this show that it is hard to keep track of them all. It begins with the audience. Families clattered with excitement and young girls dressed as Belle filled the Overture Center, this was to be a grand night indeed. They would not leave here disappointed.

The show opens magically, as an old hag, turned away after seeking shelter, is transformed into a tall beautiful enchantress (Kate Wesler) in flash of light. An Instant later, the selfish lord of the manor transforms into The Beast (Fergie L. Philippe) in the blink of an eye. With this opening, the show creates a magical bond with the audience, one that would not be broken until long after leaving the theater.

This was in part due to the amazing creative team behind the production. Director/Choreographer Matt West, created some of the most amazing dance numbers I have ever seen in a traveling Broadway show. Illusion designer, Jim Steinmeyer, truly made the audience believe in magic with some incredible illusions.

Mostly the magic, however comes from the uber talented cast. We begin with the innocently beautiful vocals of Kyra Belle Johnson, portraying Belle. Watching her transform from a naive small town girl to an empowered woman standing up for herself and those she cares about was a joy.

Of course we have the braggadocios Gaston, played by Stephen Mark Lukas, who arguably had one of the best dance numbers in the show, possibly because Gaston’s ego would settle for nothing less. Followed by his trusty side Kick and comedy relief Lafou (Harry Francis) the two provided not only laughs, but important plot advancements.

Fergie L. Philippe’s take on the Beast was nuanced with subtleties and vulnerabilities. He truly showed his insecurities through his bullying and bravado. His vulnerability and loneliness apparent as he heeded the advise of those who were cursed with him.

The entire cast did a marvelous job of creating a show filled with wonder and and magic. The evening was truly, enchanting.

Critics have raved about the show throughout its history, from its 1994 Broadway premiere through the recent smash U.K. and Australian productions: “A delight! StageMag, the digital show program platform from BroadwayWorld, today launched its new PDF Editor to all producers and stage managers using the service. The tool gives editors granular, real-time control over how their digital program renders as a downloadable or printable PDF - the format most often used in lobby printouts, accessibility packets, and press kits.

Until now, the StageMag-to-PDF path was a one-shot export: whatever fit, fit. The new editor turns the export into a configurable surface. Each section of a program including the cast list, song list, director's note, bios, advertisements, sponsor pages, articles, listings and more — can be individually told how to paginate. Editors choose between three strategies per section:

Flow: natural pagination, sections may split across pages.
Own page: start the section on a fresh page.
Fit one page: start fresh and scale the section to occupy the whole page.

A live preview pane re-renders the PDF on every change, so editors see the final printed result as they work rather than guessing and re-exporting.Beyond the strategy picker, the editor exposes a set of advanced controls familiar to anyone who has hand-tuned a long-form print document: hide-element selectors (drop sponsor strips or vestigial nav from the print version), forced page breaks before or after named elements, a draggable section-order list, custom header/footer/watermark text, and a custom-CSS escape hatch for theaters whose programs follow a house style.

The release also includes paper-level controls including US Letter or A4, portrait or landscape, three margin presets, three type scales, and a "booklet" mode that adds a binding gutter for stapled lobby printouts.

OPERATION MINCEMEAT has announced the full 2026/27 season dates for the North American leg of its world tour. The news comes as OPERATION MINCEMEAT celebrates its 500th performance on Broadway this Saturday, May 2, after hitting 2,000 performances worldwide - now playing simultaneously in the West End, on Broadway, and on tour across the UK. Following the North American leg, further stops on its international journey will include Australia, China, Mexico, and New Zealand.

In OPERATION MINCEMEAT: A NEW MUSICAL, it's 1943, and the Allied Forces are on the ropes. Luckily, they've got a trick up their sleeve. RAGTIME Will Launch National Tour in Fall 2027

Lincoln Center Theater’s Broadway revival of Ragtime, directed by Kewsong Lee Artistic Director Lear deBessonet, announced today that it will launch a North American Tour in the fall of 2027. The tour will premiere at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre in Buffalo, New York, before continuing onto cities across the U.S. and Canada. Additional tour stops and casting will be announced at a later date.

Lincoln Center Theater’s limited engagement of Ragtime has been extended twice by popular demand with performances now through August 2, 2026. The production set a new box office record at the Vivian Beaumont Theater and was recently nominated foreight Drama Desk Awards, six Outer Critics Circle Awards including Best Revival of a Musical and Outstanding Direction of a Musical (Lear deBessonet), as well as five Drama League Awards including Outstanding Revival of a Musical and Outstanding Direction of a Musical (Lear deBessonet).

OH, MARY! Reveals Tour Dates and Cities For 2026-27

The North American Tour of Oh, Mary! has announced the dates and cities for its 2026-27 season. The tour of the Tony Award and Olivier Award-winning comedy will tech and launch at The Bushnell in Hartford, Connecticut, with performances beginning September 19, 2026. Written by Tony Award and Olivier Award winner Cole Escola and directed by Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton, Oh, Mary! opened on Broadway on July 11, 2024, and continues to play at the Lyceum Theatre, where it became the first show in the theatre’s 121-year history to gross more than $1,000,000 in a single week. Oh, Mary! has since broken its own box office record twelve times and became the first show of the 2024-25 Broadway season to recoup its investment. Oh, Mary! opened to rave reviews in London’s West End on December 18, 2025.

Oh, Mary! is a dark comedy about a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. A psychic and a scientist share the same stage to put those questions to the test in Psychics vs. Science (www.psychicsvscience.com), a high-energy, interactive live event touring 15 U.S. cities in June. Launching June 9 in Houston, the production features "America's Greatest Mind Reader" and world record holder Joe Diamond (The Mind Reader) battling cognitive scientist and Carthage College professor Dr. Anthony Barnhart (The Professor) for an unpredictable night that challenges what audiences think they know about the human mind.

Each performance unfolds as a live back-and-forth between intuition and analysis. Audiences witness demonstrations of mind reading, prediction, and perception followed by real-time scientific insight into attention, memory, bias, and belief. There is no barrier between performer and audience. Every moment happens live with audience members at the center of the experience since Psychics vs. Science is built around participation, spontaneity, and unscripted moments. No two performances are ever the same.

"This isn't church. You don't have to believe a single word I say. Personally, I do believe we're all a little psychic, but that doesn't matter. What matters is what you experience in the moment during this live show," says Diamond.

Dr. Barnhart brings a scientific lens to those moments, offering insight into how audiences perceive what they experience in real time.

"What makes this show so compelling is that it lives right at the intersection of perception and explanation," says Dr. Barnhart. "Joe's performances create moments that feel impossible, and my role is to explore how our minds interpret those moments and why the answers aren't always as straightforward as we'd like."

Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Will Come to the Overture Center in May

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” the first North American touring production of the musical presented by Disney in over 25 years, will come to the Overture Center from Tuesday, May 12 through Sunday, May 17 in Overture Hall.

Based on the 1991 Academy Award-winning animated feature film, “Beauty and the Beast” premiered on Broadway in 1994 and still ranks as the 10th longest-running show in the industry’s history. Nominated for nine Tony® Awards, winning for Best Costume Design, “Beauty and the Beast” remains one of the highest-grossing Broadway shows of all time. The title’s visibility and success have expanded globally with productions of the stage show and the smash Oscar®-nominated 2017 live-action film, which grossed over $1B worldwide.

The production stars Kyra Belle Johnson as Belle and Fergie L. Philippe as the Beast. They are joined by Stephen Mark Lukas as Gaston, Danny Gardner as Lumiere, Kathy Voytko as Mrs. Potts, Javier Ignacio as Cogsworth, Harry Francis as Le Fou, Kevin Ligon as Maurice, Holly Ann Butler as Madame, Cameron Monroe Thomas as Babette, and Levi Blaise Coleman and Kanoa Edgar alternating as Chip.

“Beauty and the Beast,” directed and choreographed by Matt West, features Alan Menken’s Academy Award®-winning score, songs by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman (including the Academy Award®-winning title song and the show-stopping “Be Our Guest”), plus songs written especially for the stage by Alan Menken and Tim Rice (including “If I Can’t Love Her” and “A Change In Me”). The production features a book by Linda Woolverton, author of the original screenplay. Sets are by Stanley A. Meyer, costumes by Ann Hould-Ward (Tony Award® winner for Beauty and the Beast) and lighting by Natasha Katz.

Longtime Menken collaborators Michael Kosarin and Danny Troob are music supervisor/arranger and orchestrator, respectively. New dance music arrangements are by David Chase. David Andrews Rogers is music director.

Completing the design team, John Shivers is sound designer, Darrel Maloney is projection and video designer, and David H. Lawrence is hair and make-up designer. Jim Steinmeyer is the illusion designer, as he was on the original 1994 production. Jason Trubitt is the production supervisor, and Myriah Bash is the general manager.

Previous Disney-produced North American Tours of “Beauty and the Beast” played for almost eight years, for a combined total of 2,893 performances.

After six weeks of voting, BroadwayWorld readers have crowned Newsies the Ultimate Best Movie Musical in the 2026 edition of BroadwayWorld's Annual Bracket. The 1992 Disney film, directed by Kenny Ortega and featuring music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, defeated Les Misérables in the final round, ending the Tom Hooper-directed film's two-year winning streak.

In both 2024 and 2025, Les Misérables was voted as the Ultimate Best Musical of all time, making it the title to beat heading into this year's competition. Newsies, a perennial fan favorite that developed a devoted following after its theatrical release and has since been adapted for the Broadway stage, advanced through six rounds of head-to-head matchups before claiming the title.

Now in its third year, BroadwayWorld's Bracket invites readers to debate, defend, and ultimately crown the greatest movie musical of all time from a field selected by BroadwayWorld editors. Voting in the 2026 edition opened on Tuesday, February 24 and concluded on Sunday, April 12, with new matchups released each week.

Overture Center has revealed its 2026/27 season. The lineup includes eight Broadway shows and more than 30 Overture Presents performances.

This season, Broadway lights up Overture Hall, with ight national touring productions—including two Wisconsin premieres. The six-show subscription package includes The Wiz, Maybe Happy Ending (Wisconsin Premiere), Death Becomes Her (Wisconsin Premiere), Alicia Keys’ Hell’s Kitchen, The Outsiders, and Jersey Boys.
