All roles are open. Actors must be able to have great acting, vocal and movement abilities. Ensemble actors will understudy lead roles.

Preparation
Women should bring High Heeled tap shoes and Character shoes. Wear two piece or form fitting leotard that shows midriff. Men bring character and tap shoes. Prepare 16 bars of a song either from the show or in the style of the show. Bring sheet music and pix & resumes. Accompanist provided.

Breakdown

KIRA
(18-30 Female)
The youngest of eight sisters, she is good-looking and perky. Killer pop/rock voice (pop soprano with strong mix to A). Must be able to rock a toga, be a skilled comedienne, and a great mover. Roller skating is a MUST.
SONNY
(18-30 Male)
Good-looking, energetic, naïve with a strong pop/rock voice (pop bari-tenor with strong extension or reinforced falsetto to E). Must be comfortable in 80s short-shorts. Roller skating is a BIG PLUS.
DANNY, ZEUS
(50-60 Male)
Male- baritone. Danny: Good-looking, straight-talking businessman with lots of heart. Soft shoe or some dance ability is a plus but not required. Ability to play a clarinet and basic roller skating skills a real plus but not required.
CALLIOPE, APHRODITE
(30-45 Female)
Calliope is the sidekick to her evil sister Melpomene. We are seeking a skilled comedian with strong voice (rock pop belt to E flat).
MELPOMENE, MEDUSA
(30-45 Female)
Melpomene is one half of the sinister sister duo, opposite Calliope.
ERATO, 40’S SINGER, EROS, HERA
(18-35 Female)
Strong pop/rock voice (pop/rock soprano, alto) and great musicality needed. Must be an excellent dancer with very strong comedic ability. Tumbling, instruments, extreme flexibility, and clowning all pluses, Roller skating is a MUST.
EUTERPE, SIREN, 40’S SINGER, THETIS
(18-35 Female)
Strong pop/rock voice (pop/rock soprano, alto) and great musicality needed. Must be an excellent dancer with very strong comedic ability. Tumbling, instruments, extreme flexibility, and clowning all pluses, Roller skating is a MUST.
THALIA, SIREN, YOUNG DANNY, 80’S SINGER, CYCLOPS
(18-35 Male)
Strong pop/rock voice (pop/rock tenor, baritone) and great musicality needed. Must be an excellent dancer with very strong comedic ability. Tap dancing, tumbling, instruments, extreme flexibility, and clowning all pluses.Roller skating is a MUST.
