Breakdown
Mamillius/Time/Perdita:
Female. 20s. Mamillius: The young prince of Sicilia, son of Leontes and Hermione. Merry, playful and well-loved. Time: Beautiful, metaphysical. Striking and graceful. Perdita: Hermione’s daughter, raised by the old Shepherd, graceful and beautiful, a gentle soul.
Camillo:
Male, late 30s-50s. A Sicilian lord. An honest and loyal servant. Sensitive and emotional; this character has deep integrity. Able to convey seriousness and urgency as well as comic and loving moments.
Dion/Florizel:
Male, 20s. Dion: A servant of Leontes. Florizel: The romantic, passionate and strong-willed young prince of Bohemia, son of Polixenes. Smitten with Perdita. Intelligent, charming, young leading man.
Polixenes:
Male, 40s-50s. The king of Bohemia, lifelong friend of Leontes. A genuine and virtuous man. Powerful and strong, but also charming and thoughtful. Very much a king.
