Breakdown
Equity males & females to play 25-50 years old, comfortable with performance dance movement, to play multiple roles in ensemble cast with non-traditional casting (gender & race).
Elevator Repair Service (ERS) creates original works for the stage out of non theatrical mateiral - in this case, the verbatim text of the first chapter of Wlliam Faulkner's modernist masterpiece, The Sound and the Fury. Originally mounted in 2008, the production is currently in revival in the Martinson Hall at the Public Theater and ERS is seeking understudies.
Seeking understudies for actors who each play up to five of the following roles, at different time periods during the characers lives between 1898-1928:
