Breakdown
CAT
African-American, 23-26. A fiery, passionate young woman. A liberal lesbian. She is smart as a whip in two ways: she is well-read and studied very hard, but she is also innately gifted to be a quick thinker. She is deeply loyal, first and foremost to her father and to her self, but later to Justice Scalia. Early in the play, she lacks confidence, but she still knows what she stands for. As their relationship progresses, her confidence begins to grow, but does she begin to question what she stands for?
