Breakdown
Seeking:
[REGINA HUBBARD GIDDENS] (Female Mid 30’s-Early 40’s Caucasian)- A whip smart, attractive, seductive, tenacious, and lonely woman. She has been told her whole life that her only purpose is to be pretty. She is desperate to get her share of the pie. Regina is a red blooded and fierce competitor who fights with wit, charm, sexuality, guile, and more. She wants to beat the boys at their own game.
[BEN HUBBARD] (Male Early-Mid 50’s Caucasian)- The oldest Hubbard sibling and the boss. Ben is a tall, solid man who is graceful in his movements. His jovial exterior masks a cunning mind. (Think Francis Underwood on House of Cards.) Ben is good at sizing up the competition and knows which buttons to push and when. He loves being in charge and playing the game. Actor must have excellent language skills.
[OSCAR HUBBARD] (Male Mid-Late 40’s Caucasian)- The second son in the Hubbard family. Oscar is very much under the thumb of his older brother, and a much less skillful competitor. He has difficulty maintaining his game face when things get hot, and he desperately wants to get his fair share. Oscar constantly has to keep his wife and sister in line. He is a man of medium build with a surprising amount of strength.
[BIRDIE HUBBARD] (Female Early-Mid 40’s Caucasian)- An elegant, and very thin, Southern aristocrat. Birdie is gentle, kind, and loving. She is desperate to protect her niece Alexandra whom she loves most in the word. Birdie is in an abusive marriage to Oscar. To compensate she has been drinking alone in her room for the last 20 years. Actress should be able to play the piano.
[ADDIE] (Female Mid 50’s African American)- A tall, attractive, smart, dignified, defiant, but loving woman. Addie is a servant in the Giddens household. She has seen it all but could say very little until now. She wants justice and change.
