Currently seeking the following understudies:
Female Undertudy 1:
To Cover the following 2 roles:
* Mattie: early 60s. Caucasian, Asian, or Latina. Fragile, a bit nervous. A worrier. Dresses in her homemade bunny costume to cheer the old folks in “the home”. Loves her Episcopal Church. Younger sister of Lucy. (CAST - Seeking Understudy Only)
* Lucy: late 60s. Causcasian, Asian or Latina. A free spirit. Loves to question. Argue ideas with her brother. Seeking the meaning of life. Enthusiastic in her search for the right religion/church/ashram/temple. (CAST - Seeking Understudy Only)
Female Undertudy 2:
To Cover the following role:
* Constance: 80s. An African American woman. Grounded, slow, but still can get riled up. A bit feisty at times. Not afraid to speak her mind. Has worked for the family for 60 years – but now they take they care of her. Women of color any age able to play 80 are encouraged to attend. (CAST - Seeking Understudy only)
The following male role has been cast. Actors may be considered for possible replacements should they become needed:
Norton: Early 60s, male, Caucasian, Asian or Latino. A book-bound, retired college professor. Much more home-bound after becoming a widower. What one would call a realist, and definitey not a believer. (CAST)
