Breakdown

The classic story about a mouse named Stuart who is born into an ordinary New York family. This delightful adaptation uses elements of story theatre to bring all of Stuart’s adventures to life. An ensemble cast of 5 will portray all of the humans and animals that Stuart encounters on his adventures. We’re looking for a diverse cast of versatile actors in the 20 – 40 year-old age range.
Los Angeles area AEA Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. (Local Hires preferred).

The show performs at the 550 seat Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho Cucamonga.
All rehearsals will be in Rancho Cucamonga.
Performances are during the day, including morning performances for bussed-in school groups. Full calendar of rehearsals and performances will be available at the audition.

MEN: [20 - 40]: Versatile actors (we will be casting 2 Men) to portray characters such as Stuart Little’s Father, Older brother, a Cat, a Dentist, A School Principal, A Dog, a Telephone Repairman, and a School Superintendent.

WOMEN [20 – 40]: Versatile actors (we will be casting 2 Women) to portray characters such as Stuart Little’s Mother, A Doctor, A Dog, A Police Chief, and a Bird.

STUART LITTLE [20 – 30]: A small man to portray a mild-mannered mouse trying to survive in a “real people’s” world.
