Production converts to this Equity contract on/about 9/12. Understudies will be hired no later than 9/26. Tickets are currently on-sale through October but continued extensions are likely. All roles have been cast. Seeking understudies only.

MALE UNDERSTUDY to cover:

[MALE #1] Male, 20s-30s, Lin-Manuel Miranda type, bari-tenor, must be a good singer, a good rapper, good actor and have a dynamic personality.

[MALE #2] Male, African-American, early 20s to 30s, Tituss Burgess type, could be tall and/or big man, funny, strong voice - excellent falsetto/mix a major plus.

[MALE #3] Male, African-American, 20s to 30s, comedic young leading man with a strong baritone or tenor voice. To play Leslie Odom, Jr. and other characters.

[MALE #4] Male, African-American, Latino, etc., 20s to 30s. Comedic young leading man with a strong baritone or tenor voice. To play Daveed Diggs, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and others. Should be extremely comfortable with rap, and a strong, versatile singer.

FEMALE UNDERSTUDY/ASM to cover:

[FEMALE] Female, 20s, African-American, Latina, etc. Ingenue, attractive Renee Elise Goldsberry or Audra McDonald type, tremendous singer with expert vocal versatility - comfort with rap a major plus.
