Breakdown
Seeking for the following two plays in the 2015-16 Season:

OVER THE RIVER (LORT B)
Allen Cornell, Director
1st Reh: Monday 1/11/16
Opening: Tuesday 2/2/16
Closing: Sunday 2/21/16

Nick Cristano:
Third generation Italian/American. 30’s. Young, smart, and immediately likable. An ambitious Marketing type who is ready to climb the corporate ladder and has all the skills to do so. Conflicted by deep-rooted family ties, which are simultaneously his foundation and the rock that holds him down. Least “Italian” of the “family”, he possesses a sharp wit that serves him well when the “ties that bind” become way too tight.

Frank Gianelli
Nick’s maternal grandfather. Late 70’s. Italian immigrant. Believes in “family” above all else in the world. A man who has used his carpentry skills to build a home and life for himself and his family. Frugal and grateful, he lives in the modern world with both feet planted firmly in the past.

Aida Gianelli
Nick’s maternal grandmother. In her 70’s. Italian/American. A woman who lives to serve her family. Her abundant love for family is displayed with endless and abundant platters of food. Her lack of formal education and participation with the modern world, in no way diminishes her accomplishments as the grandmother we would all love to have.

Nunzio Cristano
Nick’s paternal grandfather. 70’s. 1st generation Italian/American. Loud, proud, and resourceful. A man who worked on an assembly line for 27 years to ensure a proper life for his wife and children.

Emma Christano
Nick’s paternal grandmother. Italian/American. 70’s. Devoted wife and mother. Her world is her family. Life’s struggles to her are manageable as long as there is the “family” to rely upon.
