Breakdown

NOTE: “Playing The Assassin” is a two character, 80 minute play. It focuses on a TV producer who wants an interview with “Frank” who, when he played professional football, was nicknamed “The Assassin” for his brutal hits including one that left New England Patriots Darryl Stingley paralyzed.

FRANK:
African American ex-football player in his 50’s (based on the real Jack Tatum, called “The Assassin”)

LEWIS:
African American television producer in his thirties. Passionate, Smart.
