Memphis Aug. 25th – Oct. 12th, 2014
Celebrate the birth of Rock n’ Roll and the sound that you remember with Memphis. Opening the remarkable 2014/2015 season, this 2010 Tony ® Award winner for Best Musical bursts off the stage with a toe-tapping, head-shaking score by Bon Jovi’s founding member David Bryan and a vivid, clever script by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change). Filled with laughter, emotion and roof-raising vocals, this captivating piece of modern musical theatre will take you on an incredible ride complete with the pursuit of big dreams, the defeat of obstacles and the voyage to find what
fills your soul. To top off all the extraordinary music, Memphis will feature Phoenix Theatre’s superb choreography with the whopping dance numbers our audiences can’t get enough of.

Mary Poppins Oct. 28th –Dec. 21st (possible extension Dec. 22nd-Jan. 4th )
Anything can happen when we recognize the magic of everyday life! Author P.L. Travers knew this special kind of magic and poured it all into her prodigious 1934 novel, Mary Poppins. Now, 80 years after this book first dazzled families, Phoenix Theatre is bringing it to the stage to astonish and amaze yours this holiday season! Share the enchanting mix of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking special effects and a message about hope, optimism and perseverance. This Best Musical Tony® winner wouldn’t be complete without the iconic songs you’ve come to know, highflying
moments you’ve come to expect and the signature flair Phoenix Theatre always brings to these favorites.

Two Pianos 4 Hands Dec. 23rd-Feb. 1st (Possible extension Feb. 3rd-8th)
For all the big dreamers out there, here is the wild, comedic tale of childhood friends in pursuit of the same ultimate goal: concert pianist stardom. Featuring music from Bach to Billy Joel, two actors, two pianos and over a dozen characters, Phoenix Theatre’s stage will play host to this hilarious portrayal of pushy parents, eccentric teachers and the triumphs and tortures of being a truly extraordinary musician. Since its premiere in Toronto in April 1996, 2 Pianos 4 Hands has been seen on five continents, in over 150 cities and by over 2 million people and is most certainly one of the most
successful plays in history of Canadian theatre.

Anything Goes Feb. 3rd-March 22nd 2015 (Possible extension March 24th-29th)
In the tradition of glorious choreographed shows like White Christmas & La Cage Aux Folles, Phoenix Theatre is thrilled to bring you a two-time Tony ® Award winner for Best Revival and tap favorite; Anything Goes! When Reno Sweeney comes aboard the S.S. American what results is a stunning musical theatre classic replete with comic twist and turns, unlikely happy endings and endlessly hummable songs. With elaborate disguises, a family-friendly love story and good old-fashioned blackmail to boot, Anything Goes will have you laughing from the opening curtain, ready to jump on
stage to join an irresistible dance number, and singing the songs long after the show has ended.

Buyer & Cellar March 24th-May 3rd 2015
A one-man show, a rare and exciting addition to a Phoenix Theatre season, Buyer & Cellar is a hysterical new comedy fresh off its chart-topping run Off Broadway! Audiences are raving about the story of Alex Moore, a struggling actor who finds himself taking an unusual gig in the basement of a true Hollywood A-lister. This diva, known to you as the best-selling artist of all-time, makes an appearance one day and what follows is an outrageous look at fame and the price you pay to achieve it. One must ask, when bonding happens in the cellar, will the relationship ever make it up
the stairs?

One Man, Two Guvnors April 28th –June 14th 2015
Lauded as ‘one of most hilarious shows’ in British theatre history and nominated for seven 2012 Tony ® Awards, Richard Bean’s One Man, Two Guvnors promises to be a surefire summer hit at Phoenix Theatre! Filled with laugh-out-loud physical comedy, a delightful score, slapstick and glittering oneliners, this unique play follows Francis Henshall, who takes the dubious position as guardian of Roscoe Crabbe, a small-time East End Hood. When Francis takes a second job minding Stanley Stubbers, another fishy criminal hiding from the police, he employs elaborate shenanigans to keep his two
guvnors apart.

Shear Madness Oct. 7th-Nov 23rd 2014
It’s no wonder that Shear Madness holds the Guinness record for longest-running play in the history of American Theatre. Celebrating its 35th Anniversary this year, this unique murder mystery is a true crowd-pleaser packed with up-to-the minute spontaneous humor and exciting intrigue.

End of the Rainbow April 7th-May 17th (Possible extension May 19th-24th )
Renowned the world over for her unique and distinct presence and lauded as the “the greatest entertainer who ever lived” by Fred Astaire, Judy Garland was a true gem of the stage. In Phoenix Theatre’s dramatic and often poignant End of the Rainbow, she is brought to back to life to share her savage wit, legendary tenacity, and once-in-a-generation voice. Set against her infamous 1968 London comeback, End of the Rainbow takes a dive into the relationships that molded the onceglittering
starlet’s last days and the personal demons she couldn’t escape. It’s time for Judy to take us back 'over the rainbow.'
