PETER PAN: Female, to play 15 - 18 yrs old
Peter is the clever, adventurous, and confident leader of the Lost Boys. While at times he is boastful and self-centered, there is a side of Peter that is caring and joyous. His desire to stay a child forever allows him to continue his adventures unburdened by the realities of growing up. He is the embodiment of youthful naïveté. His relationship with Wendy, however, forces him to grapple with emotions he never anticipated. The actor must be an excellent singer, an agile mover, and unafraid of flying.
Vocal Range: Tenor/Alto Eb2 - C4

CAPTAIN HOOK/ MR. DARLING: Male, 30-50 yrs old
A bit of grouch, Mr. Darling is a professional who happens to be a father. Though sparkles of his love peak through from time to time, he often has places to go and people to see. Hook is Peter’s nemesis and detests Peter’s confidence and natural charisma. The actor playing Hook must be a strong singer and character actor. Additionally, he must be fit and have the ability to master stage combat.
Vocal Range: Baritone C#3 - F#4

WENDY DARLING/JANE: Female, to play 13-16 yrs old
On the verge of adolescence, Wendy is conflicted by her desire to grow up and her fears about the unknown aspects of adulthood. She is a very pleasant and charming girl who takes on the role of “mother” to the Lost Boys. Meeting Peter awakens romantic feelings within her and she is forced to reconcile the various facets of her emerging womanhood. Wendy must be a strong singer and actress who is not afraid of flying.
Vocal Range: Soprano: A3 - D5

JOHN DARLING: Male/Female, to play 11-14 yrs old
The middle Darling child, John is the loyal, bookish middle child of the Darling family. A sly smile is always at home on John’s face. He has a mischievous twinkle in his eye and he has always dreamed of being in a big adventure. Must be a good mover and be comfortable flying.
Vocal Range: Tenor A2 - D4

MICHAEL DARLING: Male/Female, to play 6-9 yrs old
The youngest Darling child. He is a sweet, innocent, bubbly, and likeable boy who is full of fun. Never far from his favorite Teddy. He is ever so lovable and very huggable. Must be a good mover and be comfortable flying. You must be 8 years old by August 22nd in order to audition for this show.
Vocal Range: Tenor A2 - D4

MRS. DARLING: Female, 25-45 yrs old
The Darling matriarch. Mrs. Darling glides about gently but swiftly from task to task with motherly precision. She has a pleasant strength to her demeanor. Mrs. Darling may be doubled as a Neverland mermaid and/or an Indian.
Vocal Range: Soprano D4 - C5

MR. SMEE: Male, 28-48 yrs old
Captain Hook’s knockabout lackey. An archetypical evil side-kick, Smee might be a bit rotund and is definitely dwarfed by Hook. Should be portrayed by an actor with physical comedy chops.
Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor D3 - F#4

LIZA/TIGER LILY: Female, to play 14-17 yrs old
The beautiful princess of the Indian tribe. Tiger Lily is brave, “coquettish, cold, and amorous by turns.” She must possess a sensuality that stands in contrast to Wendy’s sweet demeanor. Strong dance ability required.
Range: Ab3 - C5

LOST BOYS: Male/Female, to play Age 10 -15
The adventurous gang of misfit boys who have been abandoned by or have run away from their mothers. They live with Peter in Neverland and originally share his desire to never grow up.

TOOTLES
The leader in Peter’s absence, so probably taller than the rest and may even be slightly taller than Peter himself. Rather simple but he has a good heart.

SLIGHTLY - Conceited, knows very little but considers himself knowledgeable about most things.

CURLY - Curly haired (hence name). Rather timid but loyal.

THE TWINS - The classical twins; we should not be able to tell them apart.

These strong personalities demand strong actors who are able to move and have stage presence and energy. All Lost Boys are male, but some can be played by girls. You must be 8 years old by August 22nd in order to audition for this show.
Vocal Range: All

PIRATES: Male, to play 20s-40s
A group of Captain Hook’s henchmen. These men believe they are sinister and cunning, but are actually a comical band of buffoons. They are continuously out-smarted and out-maneuvered by the Lost Boys and resort to dance to spark their creative juices.

CECCO - Tall, manly, splendid physique. Vocally - Rich bass baritone voice. Good dancer.

BILL JUKES - Medium height, tough guy, tattooed, don’t meet him in a dark alley. Singer, good dancer.

NOODLER - Good singer/good dancer, good physique.

STARKEY - A restoration fop, quite eccentric and not overly ‘masculine’. Something of a coward, who doesn’t enjoy fighting or getting his hands dirty. Tall, skinny, little muscle.
Good singer and mover.

The actors playing these roles must be good singers and able to move, but more importantly need to possess strong comedic timing. Stage combat experience a plus.
Vocal Range: All

INDIANS/ PIRATES: Male, Stage Age 20s-30s
The Indians are the featured dancers of the show. They must be very strong and agile dancers who can convey character and emotion through movement. Gymnastic ability a plus. Some actors playing Indians providing a unique featured dancing opportunity. The artistic team is looking to cast up to five male Indians who are strong, athletic dancers and must be comfortable appearing onstage without a shirt.
Vocal Range: All
