Preparation
Please prepare 16 bars each of two songs in musical theater style: a ballad and an up-tempo song. Bring legible sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together, back to back.

Equity Members without appointments will be seen throughout the audition day, as time permits.

Peter Cratchit:
Late teens. Puckish. Horatio Alger type. Hopeful and hardworking.

Martha Cratchit:
Early 20s. On the edge of womanhood. Warm in the company of family.

Fred:
Late 20s/30s. Scrooge’s ebullient nephew. Happy, embracing and articulate.

Young Scrooge:
20s. Intense youth whose promising good qualities shrivel as he gains success.

Dick Wilkins:
20s. Good-natured, best friend of Young Scrooge. Hero worshipper.

Topper:
20s. Buffoonish friend of Fred.

Belle:
20s. Young Scrooge’s intended bride. Moral and good.
Fan:
20s or late teens. Scrooge’s young, ingenuous and gentle sister.

Carolers (4):
Seeking wonderful singers adept with small roles.
