SEEKING

Strong dramatic male actor
Plays Lou Gehrig in one man show LUCKY LIFE. Age range: 28 - 34. Should be 5 foot 11 inches tall, 175 lbs (baseball costume has been constructed) and a polished 30's style look is preferable (ie Lou Gehrig). Being a lefty is a plus. Lou Gehrig is one of the foremost baseball players & sluggers to don a uniform. His playing prowess was rivaled by his courage facing the affliction of ALS ( now called Lou Gehrig's disease ) which claimed his life in 1941.

Actor will also be in Cole Porter Cavalcade. Must have solid VOCAL SKILLS (bari/tenor) who can read music. Knowledge of Porter's style and songs a plus.


PRODUCTION NOTE:
This short residency ( Fla / North Carolina ) will inaugurate a new Summer Theatre Program located on Ameilia Island, Florida and the Outer Banks, North Carolina.
