Please prepare 16 bars of an uptempo musical theatre song. Please sing a song in the style of the show, rather than a song from the show.

Please bring a current headshot and resume, stapled together.

Breakdown

JUDAH – Male to play early 20s. Sings ''Benjamin Calypso.'' Strong reggae singer, could be a hippie, a rasta, or anything in between. Must have fun, engaging personality and sense of humor. Strong dancer.

REUBEN – Male to play 20s-30s. Sings ''One More Angel.'' Strong country singer, great sense of comedy, strong dancer.

SIMEON – Male to play 20s-30s. Sings ''Those Canaan Days.'' Strong singer, great sense of comedy, faux-French accent, strong dancer.

POTIPHAR’S WIFE – Female. Femme fatale. Gorgeous dancer. Partnering skills a plus. Seduces Joseph. Must sing well.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE – 20s-30s, for Joseph’s brothers’ wives. Athletic and technically trained dancers with strong ballet and jazz skills. Tap skills a plus. Must sing well. May cover NARRATOR (A Storyteller. Amazing high beltress with a winning personality. Belts to an F) or POTIPHAR’S WIFE.

MALE ENSEMBLE – 20s-30s. Joseph’s brothers. Athletic and technically trained dancers with strong ballet and jazz skills. Tap and tumbling skills a plus but not necessary. All must sing. May cover principal roles, including JOSEPH (Male to play 20s. Innocent and handsome, in excellent physical condition. Must move well. Strong singer to a B).

MALE AND FEMALE SWINGS – Strong dancer/singers to cover ensemble and featured roles (and/or principal roles). Athletic and technically trained dancers with strong ballet and jazz skills. Tumbling and tap skills a plus but not necessary. All must sing.
