PROFESSOR HOUCK, 60s-70s, CAUCASIAN. Tough law school professor who specializes in environmental law. Unrelentingly hard on his students.

MARK, 50s, CAUCASIAN. Randy's father, a journalist. Insistent that his son not be defined by his ethnic identity. Skeptical of climate change and environmentalism.

CAROL, 50s, Native American to play PONCA. Randy's mother, a nurse, compassionate, intuitive. A believer in organic food and holistic health.

SUZANNE, 45-55, Native American to play CHITIMACHA. Erin’s mother, an activist, earthy, funny, sexy.

ANNIE, 12-18, Native American to play PONCA. Randy's little sister, 12 when we meet her, an artist. Quiet, sensitive.
