Featured Ensemble Parts

MAGALDI
Male, any ethnicity, to play 30 – 40. A tango singer with whom Eva has her first love affair. Charming loser – never quite made it. Has the first number in the show (“On This Night of a Thousand Stars”) and sets up the world in which Eva exists and establishes a Latin flavor to the piece which is essential. Also appears in the ensemble. Latin American in personality and feel. Needs movement ability. Strong high baritone or tenor. FEATURED ENSEMBLE

MISTRESS
Female, any ethnicity, to play 18 – early 20s. Juan Peron’s Mistress who is pushed out of Peron’s life by his future wife, Eva. Must be able to offer an extraordinary range of versatility to take on the Everyman nature of the part) and the featured ensemble role of MAGALDI (See above).
