BREAKDOWN

[FEMALE ENSEMBLE]
Females, all ethnicities, especially diverse talent. 20s – 40s. To play tourists, island locals, wedding guests, and other various ensemble characters. Must be fantastic jazz dancers with excellent singing voices. Ensemble women will also cover the principal roles of RACHEL, TAMMY, and MARLEY.

[MALE ENSEMBLE]
Males, all ethnicities, especially diverse talent. 20s – 40s. To play tourists, island locals, wedding guests, and other various ensemble characters. Must be fantastic jazz dancers with excellent singing voices. Ensemble men will also cover the principal roles of TULLY, BRICK, and JD.

[CHADD]
Male, 30s. An insensitive, shallow bully. Yet sharply comedic. He’s pre-occupied with hockey and he’s more interested in trying to change his fiancée’s physical appearance than he is in being in a meaningful relationship with her.

[GOONS]
Male, 30s. Stereotypical hockey fans, who don’t exert the energy to think too hard. IDIOTS. Friends with Chadd and supporters of his bully tendencies. Ensemble dancers will also cover the principal roles.

[JESUS]
Male, 20s/30s/40s. He’s just trying to enjoy a tropical island vacation. Grows increasingly frustrated with having his name mispronounced.

[JAMAAL]
Male, 30-40, local islander and employee of Margaritaville. Works as both the dishwasher and masseuse at the resort. Must sing well.
