Equity actors and singers for various roles within the upcoming 2017-18 Seasons for:
The Actors Theatre of Louisville, Louisville, KY

The Guthrie Theatre, Minneapolis, MN
PREPARATION
TOTAL AUDITION TIME NO MORE THAN 2 MINUTES
Prepare EITHER:
1) Two one-minute monologues, one contemporary and one Shakespearean in verse; OR
2) Prepare a one-minute monologue of choice and 16 bars of a song. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.
Bring picture and resume.

LUCY WESTPHAL
female, mid-late 20, transforms from a somewhat ill, sweet and gentle girl bereft by the death of her best friend and the apparent loss of her fiance into a wild, drug-driven lost soul holding on by a thread of hope.
DR. SEWARD
male, early - mid 30, a physician who operates a home for the insane, he is a logical academic whose world has suddenly gone mad; his finace has died, his dear friend if quite ill and inexplicable things are happening.
ROBERT RENFIELD
Male, early - mid 30, a lunatic of unique appetites and an unfortunate sense of humor. Must have excellent physical skill.
NORBERT BRIGGS
Male, mid - late 30, an attendant at the asylum. A rough customer; not entirely a brute, but capable of violent behavior when pushed.
