SEEKING
Classical, musical, and contemporary actors for 2017-2018 season. The January 3, 2017 EPA will have an accompanist available for those interested in auditioning for musical productions. Chicago Shakespeare is committed to building diversity and inclusion onstage and throughout the organization. We especially encourage actors from underrepresented groups to audition.
PREPARATION
Prepare 32 bars of a song that best shows your range (bring sheet music for accompanist) and one 90 sec monologue, contemporary or classical. Bring headshot and resume.

Chicago Shakespeare Season runs year round and casts on a play-by-play basis.
OTHER
We are seeking actors for all of our shows next season. Our season will likely include - one Mainstage musical, for which we'll be seeking classically trained singers and actors, and one Summer TYA musical, for which we'll be seeking musical theater actors and dancers. Additionally, there will be at least two Shakespeare plays, a Shakespeare TYA abridgement, and possibly one contemporary play.
EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition.
An Equity monitor will be provided.
