NYC EPAs shall be held on Tuesday, February 17 and Wednesday, February 18, at AEA, 9:30 to 5:30 each day. See separate notices.

Producing Artistic Director Roy Steinberg and Director Marlena Lustik are expected to be in attendance at the EPAs

· A monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

Need actress who can play everything from a homeless woman to an up-sale woman to a jock to a man. We are strongly considering casting an African-American or Latina or Asian artist. Lily Tomlin played this role 30 years ago and won a Tony for her performance.

Gordon’s Widow, Hermia/The Other Woman/The stranger
35-45, great comic timing

We may cast two EMC non-speaking ensemble roles.

These are real people in a surreal world and they are quirky and sometimes kooky.

Judge Biddle
An 81 year old, once brilliant man who was Attorney General under Franklin Roosevelt, he now functions between lucidity and senility. He is the aristocratic scion of an old, Main Line Philadelphia family.

Sarah Schorr
A 25 year old girl hired by Mrs. Biddle to be the judge’s secretary. She is a plain-spoken, direct pleasant girl from the prairie province of Saskatchewan

The play takes place in 1967.
