Preparation
Prepare 16 to 32 bars of a pop song from the 1950’s/1960’s. Songs by Carole King, Gerry Goffin, Cynthia Weil & Barry Mann are acceptable. No theatre music please.

Please bring picture and resume stapled together.

MALE ENSEMBLE
Early 20’s- Mid 30’s. Seeking extremely strong singers who move well to portray various roles throughout the show, including Neil Sedaka, The Drifters, The Righteous Brothers & Lou Adler. Especially interested in African American singers of all voice types and Caucasian singers with either high rock tenor voices or low bass/baritone voices.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE
Early 20’s- mid 30’s. Seeking extremely strong singers who move well to portray various roles throughout the show, including The Shirelles, Little Eva, Betty, Marilyn & Janelle Woods. Especially interested in African American singers of all voice types and Caucasian singers with a strong pop/belt or folk/rock voice.
