SEEKING

Equity actors for consideration for the 2017 - 2018 season and future shows. Show specific auditions, if needed, will be scheduled for a future time.

PREPARATION

two contrasting monologues lasting no longer than four minutes total. Please also bring 1 set of current photo and resume. A piano accompanist will be present. A CD player will also be available.

See breakdown. First rehearsal of season is August 15, 2017. Closing date of season is June 3, 2018. Six productions are in the season and each production is presented in both Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. Normal is a ten week contract for each show: 4 weeks rehearsal and 3 weeks of performance in Tucson and 3 weeks of performance in Phoenix. The 2017 - 2018 season will include contemporary comedy, contemporary drama and two musicals.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

Chapter Two -- George -- male, early 40s to mid 50s; Leo -- male -- late 30s to mid 40s; Jennie and Faye -- both females and in their 30s.

The River Bride -- play is set in a small Brazilian village and all characters are Latin --- Helena, -- female -- age 18; Belmira -- female -- age 16; Moises male -- mid 20s; Duarte -- male -- mid-20s; Sr. Csta -- male --late 40s; Sra. Costa -- female -- late 40s

Outside Mullingar --- the play is set in Ireland; -- Tony Reilly -- male -- mid 70s; Anthony Reilly -- male -- early 40s; Aoife Muldoon -- female -- 70s; Rosemary Muldoon -- female -- mid 30s.
