Equity actors for consideration for the 2015 - 2016 season and future shows.

Preparation
2 contrasting monologues lasting no longer than four minutes total. Please also bring 2 sets of current photo and resume. No piano or accompanist will be present or available.

Breakdown

Arizona Theatre Company: 2015 -2016 Season: Disgraced; Snapshots; Fences; Of Mice and Men; The Gospel according to Thomas Jefferson, Chales Dickens and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord. First rehearsal of season is September 22, 2015. Closing date of season isMay 29, 2016. Five productions are in the season and each production is presented in both Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. Normal is a ten week contract for each show: 4 weeks rehearsal and 3 weeks of performance in Tucson and 3 weeks of performance in Phoenix. The 2015 - 2016 season will include contemporary comedy, contemporary drama, two classic modern plays and one musical.

Seeing males and females in age from their teens through their full range of adult ages and all ethnicities.

All roles in Fences have been cast. All roles in Snapshots have been cast. Some roles remain for Disgraced, 'of Mice and Men and … Discord (see breakdown below for roles still available.

Disgraced --- The role of Isaac has been cast: Other available roles are:
Amir --- a lawyer, South Asian, 40s
Emily --- Amir's wife, a painter, white, early 30s
Abe --- Amir's nephew, South Asian, 22
Jory --- a lawyer, African-American, mid-to late 30s

Of Mice and Men
The roles of LENNIE, Candy, Boss, Carlson and the Crooks have already been cast. Available roles are:
GEORGE (30s) Male, a migrant work, on the smaller side, quick-witted and smart. George cares for and protects Lennie. They both dream of a better life on a farm of their own.
SLIM (40s) Male, tall and slim, attractive, a natural leader and hard worker, quiet and pensive. All of the men look up to him.
CURLY (20s-30s) male, short and small but makes up for it by being aggressive, angry, and jealous. He is the son of the Boss and is recently married. He likes to pick fights.

Available roles are:
Thomas Jefferson --- circa 1789, age 46 --- tall, handsome, mild-mannered and graceful
Charles Dickens -- circa 1856, age 44 --- compact and vibrant
Count Leo Tolstoy -- circa 1878 -- age 49 --- soldier and saint, a complex curmudgeon
