Seeking
Equity actors for consideration for the 2014 - 2015 season and future shows. No stage management positions available.

Preparation
2 contrasting monologues lasting no longer than four minutes total. Please also bring 1 set of current photo and resume. A short song of 16 bars may be substituted for a monologue. A piano with accompanist as well as a CD player will be provided.

Arizona Theatre Company: 2014 -2015 Season: Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike; Wait until Dark; Murder for Two; Five Presidents; Romeo and Juliet; A weekend with Pablo Picasso. First rehearsal of season is September 9, 2014. Closing date of season is May 17, 2015. Six productions are in each season and are presented in both Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. Normal is a ten week contract for each show: 4 weeks rehearsal and 3 weeks of performance in Tucson and 3 weeks of performance in Phoenix. 2014 - 2015 season will include contemporary comedy, contemporary drama, a classic play and one musical.

Breakdown:
Seeing males and females in age from their teens through their full range of adult ages and all ethnicities.

Roles in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Murder for Two and A Weekend with Pasblo Picasso have all been cast. All roles remain for Wait until Dark, Five Presidents and Romeo and Juliet. Some roles will be understudied

Gerald R. Ford, 38th President of the United States.

Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States.

Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States.

George H. W. Bush, 41st President of the United States.

Bill Clinton, 42nd President of the United States.

Special Agent Michael Kirby, 35-45, Presidential Secret
Service Detail.

Note on the Characters: On the day of Nixon’s funeral, Gerald Ford was approximately 80 years old, Jimmy Carter and George H. W. Bush were both 69, Ronald Reagan was 83, and William Jefferson Clinton was 47. For practical purposes,
it’s okay if some liberties are taken with regard to the ages of the actors portraying the eldest of these five statesmen
