BREAKDOWN
The Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and 1930s comes to life in the three-time Tony Award-winning musical revue, Ain’t Misbehavin’. Join five performers on a journey through the timeless music of Thomas “Fats” Waller. You’ll be jumpin’ and jiven’ with memorable songs such as Honeysuckle Rose, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Black and Blue, This Joint is Jumpin’, and I’ve Got a Feeling I’m Falling. One of the most popular, well-crafted revues of all time, Ain’t Misbehavin’ is a sassy, sultry musical celebration of legendary jazz great Fats Waller.

An unrepentant party hound. A flirt and a bit of a womanizer. Should be a singer/dancer.
Vocal range: Tenor, G2-E6
Armelia (F, 25-45)
A voluptuous and sassy woman. Warm, independent, and fun. Very strong-willed and not afraid to share her thoughts. Should be a good mover.
Vocal range: Mezzo-soprano with strong belt, G3-G6
Charlaine (F, 18-25)
A sweet, young lady. Very innocent, but aware and learning. Should be a singer/dancer.

Jovial, cheerful, and loud. Larger than life. Should be a good mover.

Confident and charming. A knowledgeable woman of the world. Should be a good mover.
