AEA actors of all race, ethnicity, gender, and ability are encouraged to attend. Please see breakdown for more information.

PREPARATION

2 monologues, both contemporary, no more than 3 minutes combined. if you like you may also prepare up to 1 minute of a song of your choice (please notify us if you will be singing in the appointment form & bring sheet music; an accompanist can be provided if requested during registration).

Seeking actors of all race and ethnicity, requires wide emotional and physical range

DRACULA, male, early-mid 40, has a strange sense of exotica, an old-world charm hiding a ferocious, raging blood-thirsty monster
LUCY WESTPHAL, female, mid-late 20, transforms from a somewhat ill, sweet and gentle girl bereft by the death of her best friend and the apparent loss of her fiancé into a wild, drug-driven lost soul holding on by a thread of hope.
DR. SEWARD, male, early - mid 30, a physician who operates a home for the insane, he is a logical academic whose world has suddenly gone mad; his fiancé has died, his dear friend if quite ill and inexplicable things are happening.
ROBERT RENFIELD, Male, early - mid 30, a lunatic of unique appetites and an unfortunate sense of humor. Must have excellent physical skill.
NORBERT BRIGGS, Male, mid - late 30, an attendant at the asylum. A rouch customer; not entirely a brute, but capable of violent behavior when pushed.

GENTLEMEN TOADS, 4 male actor musicians, each proficient in either Saxophone, Trombone, Upright Bass, or Drums. Must be able to read sheet music.
