Seeking
Actors for the 2014-15 season at A Noise Within. This audition is for plays only, a musical audition will be held at a later date.
Preparation
Please prepare a contemporary monologue no more than 2 minutes in length and have a Shakespearean monologue ready if asked.

Countess Almaviva, the Count’s wife and friend to Suzanne
Marceline, housekeeper that is in love with Figaro (not realizing that he is her son)
Antonio, Suzanne’s Uncle, Fanchette’s father, and gardener of the castle
Dr. Bartholo, a doctor (unwittingly Figaro’s father)
Cherubin, the count’s young courier and the countess’s godson; he is constantly falling in love (historically played by a female)
Bridoson, a judge
Doublemain, Bridoson’s clerk
Bazile, the Countess’s music master
Fanchette, Antonio’s daughter
Julius Caesar:

Antony, Caesar’s friend.
Brutus, Caesar’s friend and a strong supporter of the republic. He is worried that Caesar desires to dissolve the Roman Republic to become the supreme ruler of Rome.
Portia, Brutus’s wife
Casca, Roman dignitary who disapproves of Caesar’s growing power.
Octavius, Caesar’s adopted son. Next in line for the throne.
