Tenth Annual Snow Day 24-Hour improv Marathon Event Takes Over Go Comedy! This Weekend

For the tenth year in a row, improvisers from across metro Detroit will come together for 24 hours of improv comedy at Snow Day X, a benefit fundraiser event from 8:00 pm Saturday, January 14 to 11:00 pm Sunday, January 15 at Go Comedy! Improv Theatre. Tickets ($10-$20) are available now online at www.gocomedy.net.

In 2006 a group of improvisers decided to host a special improv night over the holidays where improvisers that had moved out of town could play with friends at home. In 2009 Snow Day became a 24 hour improv marathon and moved to Go Comedy! where its success lead organizers to turn the fun into a fundraiser for Gilda's Club of Metro Detroit and the Tim Hayden Scholarship Fund. This year, the event will feature more than 60 troops, a family-friendly segment, 24-hour original sketch show, a raffle and more. A 24-hour marathon pass is available for $100 while individual show segments are priced from $10-$20 as follows:
