November is a busy month at Performance Network. The Late Night Friday series gets underway with two Open Stage nights tonight, November 14, and the 21st followed by the start of both holiday productions­ "This Wonderful Life" begins November 25 (Opening Night is November 26) and the world premiere of "Gift of the Magi" begins November 28 (Opening Night is November 29). The two holiday shows are co­produced by Detroit sports and entertainment executive, Tom Wilson. The two Open Stage nights on Friday, November 14 and 21 start at 10 p.m.. Hosting on November 14 is local
musician Logan White, followed by the Network's Artistic Director and award­winning theatre artist Suzi Regan hostin on the 21st. Tickets are $10 cash only and will be available at the door on the day of the event. To sign up as a performer, email pnet.suzi@gmail.com or simply show up. The Late Night Friday series offers an eclectic array of options including music, comedy, poetry, improv and episodic theatre. The 2014­2015 schedule for the series is yet to be determined but performances will occur as opportunities arise. The schedule will be posted on www.pntheatre.org.

"Any and all are welcome! Spread the word! Bring your guitar, bring your material, bring your friends and get up on our new second stage in the lobby," said Regan. "This is a great creative outlet in an intimate, coffee house like setting. And we've got great coffee provided by Bearclaw of Ann Arbor."

Written by Steve Murray, directed by Tony Caselli and starring award­winning actor John Lepard, "This Wonderful Life" is an one­-man tour de force adaptation of the classic film about George Bailey and Bedford Falls. Performances run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from November 25­ to December 18. Tickets are $27.

Written by Annie Martin and directed by Suzi Regan who also wrote the music, this world premiere two­person play journeys through both a traditional and contemporary retelling of the classic O. Henry story, "The Gift of the Magi." Starring Alysia Kolascz and Barton Bund, "Gift of the Magi" explores the idea that while the holiday season is a time o abundance, the most important gift we can give and receive is love. Produced in cooperation with Etico Productions, performances run Friday, Saturday and Sunday from November 28­ to December 21. Tickets range in price from $25- ­$41.
