The 60s was a great time for music...especially if you were a girl in England. The five-woman cast of "Shout! The Mod Musical" takes audiences back in time and across the ocean with favorite songs like, "Downtown," "To Sir With Love," and "Goldfinger" that will have you wanting to sing and dance along.

"This is a wonderful tour of England in the 60s," says Travis Walter, MBT artistic director. "We watch these women shake and shimmy to some of the best girl songs from the era. I know people will love it."

Created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein, with "Mod Musings" and "Groovy Gab" by Peter Charles Morris and Phillip George, this musical time capsule stars both MBT favorites and newcomers. Identified by the color of their costumes, the cast includes Liz Griffith (Orange Girl), Katie Hardy (Green Girl), Allison Hunt (Blue Girl), Renee Turner (Yellow Girl), and Charis Vaughn (Red Girl) singing the songs made popular by the likes of Lulu, Dusty Springfield and Petula Clark.

"Shout! The Mod Musical" is directed by MBT Artistic Director Travis W. Walter. Daniel Feyer is the musical director and Jennifer George is the choreographer. Terry W. Carpenter is the stage manager with set design by Vince Mountain, Costume design by Liz Moore, lighting design by Reid G. Johnson, and sound design by Mike Duncan.
